About Lisa DeLuca, MLIS, MPA

Lisa is a versatile academic library administrator focused collaboration, outreach, and research innovation with students, faculty and key stakeholders. She has a strong ability to identify and manage strategic partnerships, create program management for data initiatives, and is an experienced project manager for campus wide strategic planning and software implementations. Lisa is committed to linking academic audiences with appropriate and innovative research tools. Lisa’s research interests include government information, open data, and civic technology.
 
Lisa manages innovative research, instruction, access services, and scholarly communication offerings with a 15-member team at Walsh Library. She co-created and co-manages the Data Services Team at University Libraries based on increased demand for data support on campus. Previously, Lisa was the Social Sciences Librarian at Seton Hall creating innovative research support strategies for the School of Diplomacy & International Relations. She also has ten years’ experience as a product manager for electronic trading systems. Lisa earned an MPA from Seton Hall University, an MLIS from Rutgers University, and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University. She has published in Presidential Studies Quarterly and Government Information Quarterly.
