MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (WGXA) -- Sometimes, people just need to break something to let go of some stress.
That's why Georgia College & State University's radio station, WGUR 95.3, hosted a car smash event.
Starting at 9:30 Tuesday morning, community members were invited to come alleviate tension, anxiety, and anger by smashing up junk cars with baseball bats, sledgehammers, and, even, their bare fists outside the Ina Dillard Russell Library.
Smash time was sold in packages beginning at $2 for one minute and ranging up to 10 solid minutes of bashing for just eight bucks with proceeds going toward WGUR operations.
