School bus with children on board hits utility pole and house in Rockland County
News 12 has been told that there were around 20 children on the bus, and some have been taken to the hospital for treatment. The severity of any injuries is unknown at this time.

18h agoA school bus carrying around 20 children was involved in a crash in Rockland County Thursday morning.
Police say the crash happened just before 9 a.m. at 37 Southgate Drive in New Hempstead.
The bus appears to have hit a utility pole, two parked cars and a house before ending up on the lawn of a residential property.
An overturned SUV was also on the lawn.News 12 has been told that there were 22 children on the bus that was heading to a private school.
Seven boys were taken to Westchester Medical Center. One is said to have a broken leg.
The 37-year-old driver was taken to Good Samaritan for a minor head wound.
Neighbors in the area tell News 12 they have concerns regarding speeding and newly installed speed bumps
"We're going to be on scene for quite a while. The crash team does a very thorough investigation to find out the cause of the crash," says Ramapo Police Chief Martin Reilly.
Orange & Rockland Utilities was called because of some downed wires, and a building inspector was expected to assess any damage to the house.
