Feature products #1: Flower Bed 3D Embossing Folder, Mighty Alphabet Die Set, Mix & Match Frames Die
In order to add a pop of color for the focal point, I die cut the frame with Mix and Match Frame Die.
After taking out the outside panel, I applied colors to the main frame and die cut it through the Flower Bed Embossing Folder.
This resulted a colored panel with a white border. I also popped up the main panel with two more pieces of paper to make it more pronounced.
I added the "XO" with the Mighty Alphabet Die and that's it!

Do you know...... Embossing Folders are GREAT for water-coloring!
All you need is watercolor paper like this A2 size. The ridges help you decide on the colors and it was super fun and therapeutic to do. You MUST try it if you have not done so!

You might ask how I came about with this design.... I started out with the beautiful Scalloped Frame 3D Embossing Folder.
I love inking up the surface. Once I finished that part, I found a Magnolia Ballerina flower from my stamp stash.

Great cards. I especially like the first card using the Flower Bed embossing folder. Such a unique way to use the embossed design with the die cut piece. The coloring is amazing and the embossed design so elegant. Of all the pretty new embossing folders, the Flower Bed is my favorite!
