Altenew Craft Your Life Project Kit: Dynamic Blossoms Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Hello friends!

It's time to share another exciting Craft Your Life project with you.
We are celebrating this month's CYL Dynamic Blossoms with a blog hop!

If you arrive from the blog of Bridget Casey, you are in the right place.
Come and join the fun hop for ideas and inspiration over Altenew Card Blog

About this kit: The stamp set features a stunning inflorescence of bellflowers. The outline layer is drawn with beautiful details for coloring, stamped as is, or layered with the coloring layers. The stamp set includes two coloring layers for the flowers and one for the leaves. For extra diversity, we have separated the leaves at the base of the flowers so you can turn these bellflowers into a variation of daffodils!

This project kit contains the following exclusive products:

  • one 6" x 8" clear stamp set containing 18 stamps made in the USA from high-quality photopolymer
  • coordinating die set with 1 coordinating die
  • one simple coloring/mask stencil set containing 4 stencils which coordinate with the stamp set
  • one 6x6 3D embossing folder
First of all, this set is JAM-PACKED with gorgeous stencil, stamp, embossing folder and die! I could not decide which one I want to use, so I chose a few and put them all together on my card.

I started out with the beautiful die (the light pink on the right photo) and dry-embossed it to make an imprint. I then took out the coordinating stencil and enjoyed adding various colors.

Once I was happy with the stenciled die image, I took out the Embossing Folder and went around the image and ....ta-da!

On thing about using Embossing Folder, you can manipulate the folder and add textures and details to your focal point. Don't hesitate to use just part of the embossing folder!

I was quite pleased how this turned out... But wait...where should I place sentiment?  I didn't want to cover the textured colorful image. I decided to stamp faintly in grey with a few "hello".

I think it all worked out! I am loving it...hope you do, too! If you like to see another version, please stop by here again. I will share another totally different card from using this kit.

What type of coloring medium did you use to color your card? I love using Prisma Coloring Pencils with Gamsol and Watercolor. Your card is very lovely! Thanks for sharing!

Lovely design Virginia! The color combo is very pretty and the repetition of the sentiment is a great way to use small word stamps 🤩 . Another fabulous kit! Thanks for the inspiration!

I love the whimsy on your card. The colors are so vibrant and I love that you embossed the edges of the card too. Your sentiment reminds me of an echo or someone speaking to you who you're trying to ignore (LOL).

Great idea! I would not have thought to mix dry embossing, stenciling and an embossing folder. Thank you.
