Talking About Books is a two part series focusing on the benefits of talk about books. In this second video we will look at different talk repertoires that teachers use, paying special attention to those that encourage dialogue. We will also talk more about scaffolding dialogue to build critical awareness by applying some of the CBCA criteria to three examples of books from the 2022 shortlist.
