Liver-Related Work
Acetaminophen-induced liver injury; Liver regeneration; Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver disease (NAFLD); Acute liver failure; MET/EGFR signaling; CAR signaling.
Our laboratory has clinically relevant models of acute-liver injury/failure to test therapeutics which have potential to improve liver regeneration/repair and impede liver injury progression. Our laboratory can also comprehensively investigate underlying mechanisms at various stages of acute liver injury/failure including injury initiation, progression and liver regeneration/recovery. Our laboratory also utilizes clinically-relevant models for Metabolic Dysfunction Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) to examine effects of any promising therapeutics.
