Community Colleges Count!                                Internship Application for the 2020 Census
In collaboration with De Anza College, Evergreen College, Foothill College, Gavilan College, Mission College, San José City College, and West Valley College, the Community Colleges Count! campaign is coordinated by De Anza College's Vasconcellos Institute for Democracy in Action (VIDA).

The Community Colleges Count! campaign is committed to providing opportunities for students to build their skills and knowledge and make an impact by helping be sure everyone is counted in the 2020 Census! The Census only happens once every 10 years, and used to make important decisions about many different areas: how to allocate billions of dollars in California for education, social services programs, etc. Community College students are uniquely positioned to perform outreach to get the word out about the census, and we are looking for highly motivated and creative folks to join our team!

***We will begin reviewing applications on Friday February 8, and will keep the job application open until all positions are filled.  Our hiring will be completed by Friday, February 22. ***

The campaign's student interns are paid positions. Interns receive training and commit to take on leadership roles. This internship pays $15 per hour for 10 hours per week. It is flexible to work with your school schedule. We are hiring for all seven community colleges in Santa Clara County.
