Challenges Single Dads Face

Saint Stephen’s Way looks to build a family support system through a Life Coach, mentors, teachers and other men facing the same challenges. We transform lives through a holistic wellness program that touches the mind, body and spirit; thus enabling the family unit to move forward with the faith, knowledge and skills for success.

When you are a father, you are hit daily by a world of challenges and stressful situations. It is a serious balancing act, especially when a man is charging forward alone as a single father.

Too little time. For a single dad time is at a very high premium. Work eats up most of it, so task overload can easily swallow what remains. There are mouths to feed, clothes to wash and all the details that need their attention.

Financial difficulties. A great many single parents find themselves in financial distress. Even with employment, things such as food, shelter, child care and clothing are a balancing act.

Feeling Overwhelmed. It is a daily struggle that is typically accompanied by loneliness, stress and depression.
