Work towards building a Beloved Community at the annual MLK Day of Service! This year we will be packing meals with Meals of Hope to be donated to local food pantries and the NH Food Bank. This event is brought to you by The Aulbani J. Beauregard Center for Equity, Justice, and Freedom and UNH Civic & Community Engagement in collaboration with Residential Life, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Student Government Association, University Commission on Community, Equity, & Diversity, College of Liberal Arts, and the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.
The event will take place from 9AM-4PM on Saturday, February 11th in the Strafford Room. Volunteers can sign up for as many 1-hour shifts as they would like. The outline of the day is as follows:
- 9:00-11:00: Set Up
- 11:00-2:00: Meal packing with Meals of Hope
- 2:00-4:00: Clean Up
Volunteers are also invited to bring donations of non-perishable food items for Cats Cupboard. We hope to see you there!
