A New York state judge has denied a preliminary injunction that sought to prevent election officials from enforcing a 25-day voter registration deadline.
Judge J. Machelle Sweeting ruled against the League of Women Voters of New York State, which argued that tens of thousands of people would miss the voter registration deadline for the November general election if the court didn’t step in.
