Opting Out of SBA & WACAS Testing

On Wednesday, November 3rd all 9th, 11th, and 12th grade students will be offered to take the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) and the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WACAS). If you DO NOT want your student to participate in these assessments, please sign this form. If students are not testing, they will have a "LATE ARRIVAL" schedule:

10:40 am LATE ARRIVAL
10:45 am - 11:15 am LUNCH
11:20 am - 2:20 pm ADVISORY (Independent Learning)

If I have an 11th or 12th grader, I understand that I am waiving the opportunity to have my student's SBA results meet a graduation pathway requirement, and that my student has another pathway plan.

If my student is opting out, I understand that they will be provided a space to do independent learning/study hall if they choose to come to campus.
