PHOTOS & SOCIAL: Men’s Soccer wins 2023 National Championship!

LOUISVILLE, Ky – Brandon Parrish scored in the 27th minute and Ousmane Sylla added another in the 70th minute as ninth-seeded Clemson Men’s Soccer won the 2023 National Championship with a 2-1 win over No. 2 Notre Dame on Monday. It was the fourth national title in the program’s history (1984, 1987, 2021, 2023). It was the eighth team national championship in Clemson’s history.

Head Coach Mike Noonan joined I.M. Ibrahim and Dabo Swinney as Clemson head coaches with multiple national championships. Clemson did not concede a goal in the NCAA Tournament until a penalty kick in the 89th minute after a handball in the box.

  • Clemson men’s soccer has won its fourth national championship.
  • Men’s soccer’s fourth-team national championship is the most by any program at Clemson.
  • Men’s soccer’s 2023 national championship came 729 days after its 2021 championship. That is the second-shortest duration between team national championships at Clemson since the 728 days between football’s titles in the 2016 and 2018 seasons.
