Cost of Attendance (COA)

& College Financing Plan (CFP)

If you file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), a College Financing Plan (CFP) is made available in MyOTC. The Financial Aid Office provides Cost of Attendance (COA) information outlining the estimated annual cost of attending college, including amounts for tuition & fees, room & board, book & supplies, transportation, and personal expenses. Your COA is based upon your residency status as well as information from the FAFSA. The College Financing Plan (formerly Shopping Sheet) provides a standardized cost sheet designed to simplify financial aid information so students can more easily compare institutions and make informed decisions. See the examples below to help you estimate college costs and available financial aid.

See how OTC compares with other institutions in terms of cost, graduation rates and retention by viewing the important information at College Scorecard and College Navigator.

Please contact our office at Veterans@otc.edu if you have questions about your Financial Aid Package.

VA Education Benefits: If you anticipate VA Education Benefits, you must request enrollment certification each semester. Once enrolled, submit the Certification Request Form. You are required to notify the VA School Certifying Official of any changes to your schedule after the semester begins.

Tuition Assistance: If you anticipate Tuition Assistance, you must secure approval from your Education Services Officer (ESO) BEFORE the semester begins. The Veteran and Military Services Office is not made aware of attendance by third-party websites, like Army IgnitED. We are not aware you intend to use TA unless you notify us directly.
