Volunteer with AARP Long Island and make a difference all year long!

LI Volunteering

This 2024, AARP Long Island is gearing up to offer more events, activities, and programs across the island and we need your help at our AARP Long Island Volunteer Township Teams!

If you’re interested in finding out what AARP Long Island has to offer, please visit us at one of our volunteer monthly meetings, near where you live. You’ll be welcomed by a variety of lead volunteers representing the different volunteer opportunities - in the area of advocacy, community outreach and special events - who can share their experiences with you. You can listen, ask questions, and engage with other great people just like you.

Find us near you! AARP volunteer township teams hold monthly volunteer meetings at these following locations across Long Island.

NOTE: Meeting cancellations do occur and are subject to change, so you may want to contact the location ahead of time and make your plans accordingly.

You can always contact the library or email us at nyaarp@aarp.org for more info:
