Burn Residency Winner / Carlos Capslock DJ Resident / Rock in Rio 2022
Do not expect an ordinary biography, because Ella De Vuono is everything but ordinary. She escapes the labels and delivers what she does best: the art of DJing. Whether with her four decks or sliding her hands through the turntables, Rafaella became known for combining repertoire, feeling and advanced technique in her presentations, pillars that support all the talent she has.
Authentic, performative and always with versatile sets. Ella De Vuono goes further and presents herself with body painting. Her experience and boldness can be seen in the scratches and acapellas, moving naturally between sounds that go far beyond a single style, she got House, Disco, Techno, Breakbeat, Synth Pop, Electro and space for whatever else she is in the mood for.
Her eclectic profile has already been tested and approved in some of the most disputed dancefloors in Brazil, such as Rock in Rio, Levels, Caos, Cavan 77, Fosfobox, Deputamadre, Beehive Club and the Universo Paralello festival, not to mention the memorable performance at the LGBT Parade in Campinas. In addition, she visited countries such as Spain, England, Chile and Argentina.
In this trajectory, she added some memorable achievements. She won the Desafio DJ Brasil (Brazil's DJs Challenge in 2012), the BURN Residency Brasil 2019 and was the 1st female DJ resident at one of the most famous and prestigious parties in the São Paulo scene, Carlos Capslock. Such successes welcomed other good results, participating in conferences such as BRMC, WME, Alataj Webinar and AIMEC DJ Week. In her curriculum, she also has productions signed by prestigious Brazilian labels, such as Warung Recordings, MEMNTGN Records and Cocada Music.
Another remarkable achievement of this list was the invitation to join the Rock in Rio 2022 line-up aside with Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, Macy Gray, Anna, Ludmilla and Ivete Sangalo, performing on a historic day for the festival in which only women took the stage. There, far beyond technique and impeccable skills, she told a story and conquered not only Rio de Janeiro, but everyone who watched her. Her connection with the public expanded and her message touched the soul. This fact makes the moment even more remarkable, as the invitation to the specific date came through the recognition of Ella's struggle for gender equality inside and outside electronic music.
It was based on this pillar that the artist founded Diversall Music. The label and music publisher's main purpose is to increase diversity in the electronic scene, serving as support for new artists who also carry the desire to transmit, through music, deep, questioning messages that raise the flag of a society with less prejudice and more equality.
