PLC Mondays

Professional Learning Communities are a group of educators that meets regularly, shares expertise, and works collaboratively to improve teaching skills and the academic performance of students.

Nationwide, PLCs are increasingly recognized as the most powerful strategy for sustained, substantive school improvement processes.

Starting Monday August 22, 2022, students at participating schools will start one-hour later on Mondays to allow educators to work together as a PLC.

Why PLC Mondays?

The MSBSD mission is to 'prepare all students for success' and MSBSD is a good place for students to learn, one of the best in the state but, we are striving to make it even better! We want to make our district one of the standout districts in the nation.

PLC Mondays allows our instructional staff the time to examine student work, develop common assessment and collaborate on instructional strategies so we improve academic achievement and graduate students who are more ready to enter into a career and/or college.
