Our Mission Statement
The East Rockaway school counselors are committed to working with all students to assist them in reaching their individual academic and personal potential. Our counseling program encompasses academic planning, social development, skill development and transitional activities. We have created a developmental counseling program for students in grade 7 - 12 where our school counselors work with our students, their families, teachers, and building administration to maximize the middle and high school experience.

East Rockaway will be hosting the SAT on Saturday May 4th, 2024. The last day to register for this exam is April 19th, 2024.

The HOLLER Future Fair will take place at Molloy University on Monday, May 20th. This fair is only for East Rockaway and neighboring district students. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn from and connect with College Admissions and Trade School representatives.

East Rockaway High School is excited to be hosting a College Essay Workshop on May 6th, 2024 and May 8th, 2024. The workshop will be held in the student center located in the counseling office. A college representative will be there to provide students with information about the college essay: topics, dos and don’ts, and essay samples.
