School counselors will address the academic, career and social emotional development of all students with the goal of ensuring that all students are prepared with and have access to the knowledge and skills to contribute at the highest level.

THE SCHOOL COUNSELOR'S ROle

A school counselor's role is to provide classroom lessons on a variety of topics, run small academic-focused groups, and meet with individual students. School counselors work with administration, teachers, and parents to drive student success in academic, career, and social/emotional areas. Our goal is to remove barriers to learning by providing support through a variety of methods, including counseling and teaching academic and social/emotional skills. We are advocates for social justice and work to dismantle systemic oppression within education.

If you need to reach your child's school counselor, our contact information is located above.
