CM: Zaniolo and Dybala forced off in Roma-Bologna – the latest on their condition

By Oliver Fisher -

Roma got their 2023 off to a winning start as they beat Bologna 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico yesterday, but a couple of scares came from the game.

Calciomercato.com recall that both Nicolò Zaniolo and Paulo Dybala came off during the win against the Rossoblu, thus sparking fears that Jose Mourninho could be without two of his main forwards for the trip to face Milan.

However, Zaniolo has been evaluated at training today and his presence on Sunday evening at the San Siro is not in doubt, just as there are good news also for La Joya, who reported only cramps.

The Italian and the Argentine – both replaced during the second half due to some physical problems – therefore did not suffer serious consequences. A blow to the knee for Zaniolo, while Dybala left in the second half after starting for the first time in 87 days, but both will be available at the weekend.
