Tampa, FL – As the Ortega-Murillo regime continues to persecute and attack the Catholic community in Nicaragua, Senator Scott and a number of his colleagues are calling on the Biden Administration to stand with the people of Nicaragua, defend human rights and hold the Ortega-Murillo regime accountable by imposing additional sanctions.
While Senator Scott is fighting in the U.S. Senate to hold those perpetrating these crimes against humanity accountable, Florida Democrats’ radical senate candidate chose to stand with her cronies in the socialist squad, voting during her short time in Congress 100% with Nancy Pelosi, 94% with Ilhan Omar and 93% with AOC.
She also supported President Obama’s failed appeasement policies, which did nothing to help the Cuban people. The violence, instability and chaos we see in Latin America is directly tied to the oppressive Cuban Regime, which continues to prop up dangerous dictators throughout the region, including the Ortega-Murillo regime in Nicaragua.
