Description: Historical Gallery of the Building Blocks of Classism and Racism in Our Country
*Gain a historical understanding of the intentional construction of racism and classism and its present-day impact.
*Explore personal connections and how vestiges of the ‘history’ you learned manifest and impact your personal (and professional life).
*Deepen knowledge about the four kinds of racism and what is within your sphere of influence to change
*Cross-pollinate ideas and develop intentional practices to thrive as citizens centered on racial equity
There will be time for individual, small group and whole group participation. It’s interactive learning geared toward middle school ages and up. After this session, you will more fully understand the roots of the institutional and structural racism and classism at all levels of our society.
