Dear Friend of Restore America
Vladimir Putin, the Russian President, and former Soviet Era KGB Officer, could take a lesson in courage from Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Whereas Putin, out of fear of contracting COVID, has remained in isolation for two years and will not allow anyone to get within 40 feet of him, Zelenskky has remained in Kiev, amongst his leaders and people, visibly encouraging Ukrainians to stay, and fight the Russian invaders in the streets if necessary.
Zelenskky's commitment to stay in Ukraine and fight for his people and nation, in spite of the American offer to evacuate him said, "I need Ammunition, Not a Ride," has inspired millions of Ukrainians to do just that, stay and fight for their country and freedom.
His courage and leadership led to the discombobulation of the Russian Plan to quickly subdue the Ukrainian military and take the Capital of Kiev. As of this writing, the Russians have not been able to take control of any Ukrainian City.
As for Putin, he is facing angry opposition and protests in the streets of Moscow and Saint Petersburg, for attacking Ukraine; stiffening resolve amongst our Nato allies against Putin's invasion, and the disdain of nations around the world.
As C.S. Lewis said, 'Courage' is the testing point, and the courage of both Ukraine's President and his people, may determine whether the free world steps forward to avoid another slaughter of innocent men, women, and children by a ruthless dictator.
