Originally a 200-acre tract of land, the Knauss Homestead grounds today feature the main house museum, an 18th-century barn, and the Emmaus Remembrance Garden.

The Heinrich Knauss House is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a culturally identifiable Germanic floor plan, designed with an internal chimney and distinct room arrangement. Jack collected, researched, and preserved starting as a young man in 1942 until his passing in 2016. The museum is dedicated to continuing his passion for future generations.
