Cleanup Time: 9 a.m. - noon
Thank You Party: Noon - 1 p.m.
The Great American Cleanup is the nation’s largest volunteer community improvement program that motivates individuals to take greater responsibility for their community and the collection of litter. Cleanup activities are outdoors and offer the perfect opportunity to enjoy the beauty of our community.

KACB will have sanitized supply kits available for pickup from our office prior to the event and at Massey Park on the day of the event. Massey Park is headquarters for cleanup sites throughout the county; cleanup sites are not at the park.

Household Hazardous Materials will NOT be accepted at Massey Park as in past years. Please take HHW to the Leveda Brown Environmental Park HHW Facility or Rural Collection Centers according to Alachua County Environmental Protection Department guidelines.
Families and individuals that wish to further limit their interaction with others are welcome to visit our office beforehand to receive their supplies. We can all participate in making our community a more beautiful place.
Closed-toe shoes are required and a hat is recommended.
Bring a personal water bottle -- we want you to stay hydrated.
Don't forget to post your cleanup event photos on our social media pages on Facebook and Instagram so we can see the difference you helped create!

Please sign up at https://www.kacb.org/events to let us know if you are planting, litter removal, gardening, planting trees, removing graffiti, pulling invasive plant species, or otherwise beautifying the county we call home.

The 2021-2022 Great American Cleanup ran from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022, and the summary report is complete.
