Dr. Kal Srinivas is the Director for Retention in the Office of the Associate Provost, Academic Affairs, at Syracuse University. This position was created and designed to meet a need on campus to help ensure the success of all students through graduation. She works closely with the Assistant Provost and Dean of Students in Enrollment and Student Experience and the Assistant Vice President for Institutional Research and Assessment to determine what causes attrition and develop recommendations, alternate systems, and procedures to increase retention. She assists in identifying areas of needed change that would increase student success and retention. Working collaboratively across campus, as the Director for Retention she is responsible for the coordination of university retention efforts, programs and services. She is the functional lead for the implementation and use of the Orange SUccess, a web based early alert and connect system.
