Pitt Panthers #H2P

View Full Schedule

Due to significant changes in available parking inventory surrounding Acrisure Stadium, season ticket holders for Pitt Football will participate in a repark process to allocate parking for the 2023 football season. This process will allow fans to choose the parking lot and/or garage they are most comfortable with on the North Shore, subject to availability.  In order to ensure an equitable process, all season ticket holders who purchase 2023 football season tickets by March 1, 2023 will have the opportunity to select their parking lot, in order of Panther Club Priority Points. The repark will also provide fans the opportunity to upgrade their parking, if spaces are available. Our ultimate goal is to provide excellent customer service for our season ticket holders.

How are priority points accumulated which lead to my selection ranking?
The parking selection rankings take into account the loyal support of our fans and donors. The order in which you will select your parking lot will be based off your Panther Club priority points ranking, which is determined through a combination of factors.

To view your current priority points and ranking, please click here and log into your account.

These factors include:
  • Annual Financial Support
    • 1.5 points for every $50 given to the Student-Athlete Success Fund
    • 1 point for every $50 given in support of Pitt Athletics
    • 10 points for each consecutive year of membership in the Panther Club
  • Season Ticket Purchases
    • 2 points for each year of purchasing Pitt football, men’s basketball, or women’s basketball season tickets (football and men’s basketball since 1972, women’s basketball since 2005)
  • University of Pittsburgh Affiliation
    • 10 points for each affiliation:
      • Varsity letterwinner at the University of Pittsburgh-Oakland (Main Campus)
      • Faculty/Staff
      • Alumni (alumni status will be applied one time only and may only be applied once per account even if multiple donors on the same account qualify)
*In order to make sure all the priority points you have earned are factored into your ranking, you must be an active Panther Club member. If you have questions about your Panther Club membership status, please call 412-648-8889. If you are a Football season ticket holder who purchases parking, you must have your 2023 Pitt Football seats renewed on or before March 1st, 2023.

As a special offer to show our appreciation to our amazing fans, we are excited to announce a Panther Club bonus points opportunity. This allows all donors the chance to accumulate more priority points faster.

How it Works

  • Under the Panther Club priority point system, points are earned for all contributions to the Panther Club. During this exclusive bonus point opportunity, all donations to the Student-Athlete Success Fund between December 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022 will receive 3 priority points per $50 donated. This offer is double the normal rate of priority point accrual for gifts to the Student-Athlete Success Fund, and triple the normal accrual rate for all other Panther Club donations

When it Takes Place

  • December 1 –December 31, 2022
Bonus points will only be awarded for donations to the Student-Athlete Success Fund between December 1 and December 31. Donations made to satisfy Scholarship Seating requirements will not qualify for the bonus points opportunity.

What is the Panther Club?
The Panther Club is the official fundraising arm for the University of Pittsburgh Athletics Department. Our mission is to provide critical resources for scholarships, capital projects and 19 individual sport needs. Our goal is to create the very best experience for current and future Pitt student-athletes and champions. More information can be found at the Panther Club website: HailToPitt.com.

Why are we reparking on the North Shore?
Due to the ongoing development on the North Shore and the addition/removal of parking lots/spaces each year, we want to ensure our Panther Club donors and season ticket holders are receiving the opportunity to park in a desirable location, subject to availability.

What do I need to do in order to pick my lot and/or garage with a group of friends?
There is not an option to average your points with a group. We encourage all Pitt fans who wish to park in the same lot/garage to communicate with each other prior to your time slot so you can try to choose the same lot/garage (subject to availability). Fans who wish to park in the same lot/garage with other season ticket holders can wait until everyone in their group has an open time slot and choose the best available lot/garage at that time. Alco Parking reserves the right to direct patrons to parking spaces in each lot/garage as they enter.

Can I increase the number of parking passes I previously purchased for the 2022 Pitt football season?  If so, what is the timing to do this?
Yes.  Please refer to the question below on the number of parking passes you may purchase based on the quantity of football season tickets in your account for the 2023 season.

What is the maximum number of surface spaces I can purchase?
One pass may be purchased for every two (2) Pitt football season tickets for the 2023 season; maximum of four (4) surface spaces. For those individuals purchasing a single season ticket, should you be eligible, you will have the opportunity to purchase one (1) space in a surface lot. Parking passes above the maximum will be allocated into the best available parking garage. Handicap parking in a surface lot does not count towards the above restrictions but is limited to one (1) in a surface lot at the discounted membership rate.

I was assigned accessible parking last year. Do I need to submit a handicap placard again this year?
Yes. Season ticket holders in need of accessible parking on a season basis are required to provide proof of need annually for accessible parking (for example, a copy of a state issued placard). Please contact the Panthers Ticket Office at 800-643-PITT regarding accessible parking. Accessible parking in a surface lot does not count towards the above restrictions but is limited to one (1) in a surface lot at the discounted membership rate.

Can I transfer my season parking pass from my account to a friend?
The account holder of Season Parking passes cannot transfer their ability to select parking from their account to another prior to the repark.  Once individual pass holders select their parking option and choose their pass(es) for the upcoming season, they may continue to utilize Pitt Athletics’ mobile ticket and parking platform to transfer individual parking passes throughout the season.

When will the next repark for football be?
We currently expect to repark for football every three to five years. Pitt Athletics will make a reasonable effort to announce its plan well in advance notice.  Pitt Athletics reserves to right to adjust the repark schedule. While spaces may be renewable each year, we cannot guarantee the same lot/garage each year due, among other things, to ongoing development on the North Shore and potential loss of spaces and/or lots each year.

What is the deadline for making a Panther Club payment to affect my ranking in the repark process?
March 1, 2023

How can I make a payment to the Panther Club?
Panther Club contributions can be made by calling 412-648-8889 or visiting pittsburghpanthers.com/donate.

When will the repark selection process begin?
April 11, 2023

Can I keep the same parking lot I had last season?
We cannot guarantee that your same lot will be available. All accounts who purchased football season tickets and season parking will be included in this repark selection process. Season Ticket Holders will select parking based on their Panther Club Priority Point Rank order as of March 1, 2023.

Will matching gifts count towards my seat selection priority points?
Matching gifts will factor into your overall priority point total ahead of the repark and the matching funds will earn the same amount of points as a donation of that amount would accrue. However, due to the tax law change in 2017, Scholarship Seating & Parking membership payments are not eligible to be matched, and there is not a matching gift opportunity for any donation associated with season tickets or parking.

What if I miss my appointment time?
The assigned reparking window reflects the earliest time a customer may log-in to select their lot. Those who miss their scheduled appointment time may log-in to select a lot/garage at any time after their appointment time has started. However, the longer you delay your parking selection the more inventory that could be taken by others during that time window. The parking selection process will end once all account holders have successfully allocated parking to their account.

Is there an option to select my parking if I do not own a computer?
Many libraries have free computer access and family members or friends can also assist with the process. The Athletics Ticket Office will also provide assistance during the selection process.

If I am eligible, and subject to availability, will I be able to choose multiple parking lots (i.e. Surface Space and Garage Spaces) during my appointment?
Yes. The technology used for the repark will allow customers to purchase parking in both surface and garages during your appointment.

I already pay a Scholarship Membership fee with my season tickets.  Do I need to pay another Scholarship Membership fee with my parking pass?
Yes, fans are responsible for paying the Scholarship Parking Membership fee associated with their surface or garage spaces.

What allocation do I have to contribute to in order to be awarded bonus points?
The Student-Athlete Success Fund is the only allocation that will award donations bonus points between December 1 through December 31.
