KIRKLAND, WA β€” The official start of fall is little more than two weeks away, and its arrival will herald the return of the region's oldest and biggest Oktoberfest celebration. The annual festival is scheduled over three days on the Kirkland waterfront, offering revelers across the region a chance to kick off the season with "MΓΌnchen-style" flair.

Returning this year to Marina Park is a multi-acre biergarten, live entertainment stages, games, contests and plenty of imported German beer, along with a slate of Pacific Northwest staples. Plenty of festive eats are on the menu, too, including plenty of food trucks, hot pretzels and sizzling sausages.

Ticket packages range from $54.99 to $24.99, including entry-only options to beer packages. A la carte beer, cider, wine and cocktail offerings start at $8, with most menu items ranging from $7 - $19. Designated drivers can get reduced-rate festival-only admission.
