As a small non-profit organization, we strive to create registration policies that offer flexibility to accommodate the unforeseen circumstances that participants may face, while also sustaining our support and services across our community. As such, we have established the following policies for OLC Accelerate 2021:

Payment Policy:

  • Full payment of conference registration fee must be received by September 17, 2021.
    • Access to the conference (virtual and/or onsite) will not be provided until full payment is received.
    • Conference registration may be paid with a credit card, check, or wire transfer.
    • Purchase orders are accepted at registration, but must be paid by the September 17 deadline.
    • Conference registration may be paid with a valid OLC credit memo.
      • Unexpired credit memos may be used for Accelerate 2021 conference registration. 
      • Any remaining balance on a credit memo used will have an expiration of December 31, 2021. 
      • No refunds will be made on credit memos. 
      • Credit memos are transferable within an institution.
      • Credit memos may be combined within an institution for virtual group package purchases.

Substitution and Conversion policy:

  • Substitution of registration to a different attendee (one time) is allowed.
    • Substitutions must be made by Friday, September 17, 2021. No substitutions will be allowed after this date.
    • Substitutions must be made in the same registration format (All Access Pass or Full Virtual Pass).
    • No substitution fee is assessed.
    • The request for substitution, along with the name and email address of the previous registrant plus the substitute must be emailed to conference@onlinelearning-c.org.
  • Conversion of a registration to from All Access Pass to a Full Virtual Pass or vice versa (one time) is allowed.
    • Conversions must be made by Friday, September 17, 2021. No conversions will be allowed after this date.
    • A request to convert from an All Access Pass to a Full Virtual Pass registration would result in a refund of the difference to the original form of payment.
    • The request for conversion must be emailed to conference@onlinelearning-c.org

Cancelation policy:

  • Onsite and virtual cancelation policy: 
    • Individual or group package registration is cancelable with a refund provided through August 11, 2021, with a written request for cancelation of conference registration.
      • Cancelation request must be submitted in writing to conference@onlinelearning-c.org by this deadline. 
      • A 10% cancelation fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.
      • Credit memos may be requested instead of a refund. Credit memos will not have a cancelation fee applied.
      • A group package (virtual only) cancelation will result in the cancelation of all attendees registered through that group package.
    • August 12 through September 17, 2021, only credit memos will be issued for registration cancelation requests.
      • Cancelation request must be submitted in writing to conference@onlinelearning-c.org by this deadline. 
      • No cancelation fee will be deducted from the credit memo issued.
    • After September 17, 2021, no substitutions or cancelations are allowed. No refunds or credit memos will be issued for cancelation or non-attendance.
    • Credit memos:
      • Credit memos issued for Accelerate 2021 registrations, which were originally paid for via cash or credit card payment, are good for any OLC product (excluding membership and IELOL fees) through December 31, 2022.
      • Credit memos issued for Accelerate 2021 registrations, which were originally paid for by applying a credit memo originally issued in 2020, will expire on December 31, 2021, as per the above.
      • Credit memos are transferable within your organization.

If you do not attend the program and do not submit a written request for refund, credit memo, or substitution request by September 17, 2021, The Online Learning Consortium will retain all fees. The Online Learning Consortium is not responsible for any change/cancelation charges assessed by airlines, travel agents, hotels or other similar vendors. Refund and cancelation requests must be made in writing to conference@onlinelearning-c.org. Refunds will be made to the original form of payment for the event when possible (i.e., credit memo, credit card, or check).

OLC strives to deliver our events as scheduled. However, we reserve the right to reschedule, restructure or cancel a program due to unforeseen extenuating circumstances or low registration. Should Accelerate 2021 onsite program be canceled, all registrants will be automatically converted to Full Virtual Pass registrations, with the difference between All Access Pass and Full Virtual Pass fee refunded back to the original form of payment.

  • Select “Purchase New Sessions” from the dropdown
  • Select the pre-conference Master Class you will like to add to your registration
  • Continue the checkout process to complete your purchase

Below are some specific ways in which your data is shared to enhance your experience during the conference: 1) Virtual Participant List – for those who have not opted out, your name, title, and organization will be included on the virtual platform for networking purposes. 2) Exhibit Booths – by interacting with an exhibit booth on the virtual platform, your name, organization, title, country, and email address will be shared with the exhibiting company.

In order to protect our valued exhibitors and sponsors and the significant investment they have made to participate as a partner at the conference, our rules strictly prohibit solicitation by attendees who do NOT have exhibit booths. Any non-exhibitors who are observed soliciting business at the conference, a practice known as “suitcasing” or “outboarding”, will be asked to leave immediately. Individuals and companies found to be suitcasing or outboarding may also be excluded from future conferences.
