OUR METHOD

The core purpose of Friends LA is to keep families together. We proactively select children ages 4-6 facing the most significant barriers to future success.

OUR MODEL

Our unique 2Gen approach allows us to impact generational poverty and support families by providing full-time, salaried mentors (Friends) for 12+ years, no matter what. While there are many programs for vulnerable children, very few programs offer a long-term, individualized, and comprehensive approach for children in the highest-risk environments. Of these, even fewer programs deliver outcomes that break the cycle of poverty.
