Clements QUARAN-TEEN Club
Junior Library Guild has partnered with author Rex Ogle to offer students, teachers, parents, and librarians around the world a unique opportunity. Each week, Rex will join listeners to share the latest installment of his new venture Aiden Tyler, Quaran-teen. Written in real-time, this means that the title character, Aiden, will be experiencing the same trials, fears, and uncertainties as listeners. Along the way, listeners will be encouraged, entertained, and reminded of the importance of family and friends in the face of adversity.
Since the story is being written and told and real-time, Junior Library
Guild and author Rex Ogle are also encouraging listeners to share their
illustrations that capture characters, settings, and important events.
The NBC Library Staff would like to invite students and teachers to join the Clements Quaran-Teen Club by viewing each webcast and then sharing their comments, reviews, thoughts, reactions, and illustrations to the newest chapters.
