Occupational Health Clinic vaccine ID badge sticker program to begin June 1

On Tuesday, June 1, the Occupational Health Clinic will begin distributing “Vaccinated” ID badge stickers to VUMC employees. The stickers allow employees to be quickly identified as fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and will assist with streamlining business and operational processes such as for in-person meetings and in non-clinical areas to quickly identify employees who are fully vaccinated and not required to wear a mask.

Who is eligible to receive a vaccine ID badge sticker?

Employees who have been fully vaccinated may voluntarily self-identify their vaccination status and receive an ID badge sticker through the Occupational Health Clinic verification process. An individual is considered fully vaccinated 14 days after completing the 2-dose series of Pfizer or Moderna, or 14 days after a single dose of Johnson and Johnson.

Individuals eligible to receive a vaccine ID badge sticker include employees, volunteers, medical and nursing students, Vanderbilt University employees working in Medical Center facilities, and post-doctoral researchers or fellows.

What should I bring with me to receive my vaccine ID badge sticker?

Eligible individuals must bring their Vanderbilt ID badge to the sticker distribution site. If you received your COVID vaccine outside of the OHC vaccination program and have not uploaded proof of immunization to OHC, you also will need to bring proof of vaccination (e.g., your COVID vaccine card).
