Providing Culturally Responsive Care and Addressing Cross-Cultural Barriers in Early Psychosis: Online Series

"Providing Culturally Responsive Care and Addressing Cross-Cultural Barriers in Early Psychosis" is a series of online meetings to discuss topics of cultural diversity in the context of early psychosis and clinical high-risk populations. The series includes a combination of webinars and discussions similar to the previous EPLC online discussion series with a presentation (around 30-45 minutes) followed by questions and discussion by participants (around 30-45 minutes).

 

The series includes case examples and discussions by presenters with topics such as:

  • Challenges for providers in the context of cultural diversity
  • Strategies for providing culturally competent care to diverse populations
  • Challenges in diagnoses across various cultures
  • Stigma associated with psychosis/mental health across different cultures
