MOSAIC is an NIH-wide initiative to promote faculty diversity that NIGMS oversees. It has two components: a postdoctoral career transition award (K99/R00) and a cohort-based mentoring and career development program that supports the scholars (UE5 research education cooperative agreement). During the webinar, we’ll provide a broad overview of the programs and share our expectations of applications and the required data tables for the upcoming receipt dates: October 12 (K99/R00) and November 15 (UE5). You can send questions before the webinar to Kenneth Gibbs or post them in the chat box during the event.

If you’re unable to attend online, you can join by calling (1-669-254-5252 (San Jose), 1-646-828-7666 (New York)) and entering the meeting ID and passcode. You do not need to register in advance to attend. Participants requiring sign language interpretation and/or other reasonable accommodations should submit a request using our contact form at least 5 days prior to the event.

NIGMS Staff Participating in the September 14 Webinar:

  • Kenneth Gibbs, Program Officer
  • Rebecca Johnson, Scientific Review Officer
  • Justin Rosenzweig, Grants Management Specialist

Slides and a recording will be posted on the MOSAIC webpage following the event.
