DPT/MBA Dual Degree Program

DPT/MBA DUAL DEGREE PROGRAM

The Doctor of Physical Therapy program offers two dual degree options - a Master of Business Administration or a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management. Either degree prepares graduates for fulfilling careers as skilled clinicians in a wide range of healthcare and practice environments plus the necessary skill-set to successfully integrate physical therapy and business. Students who choose to complete the dual degree will receive the education and hands-on skills necessary to pursue private practice ownership, competitive management and administrative positions. Students meeting the academic requirements for the dual degree at the end of their first year may take MBA classes along with the DPT, adding no more than one year of additional schooling. The majority of students are able to complete both the DPT and MBA in four years.
