Lititz Sex Offender Nabbed by Human Trafficking Task Force Pleads Guilty, Sentenced to 4-8 Years in Prison

A Lititz sex offender arrested by the Lancaster County Human Trafficking Task Force pleaded guilty to six counts Friday in Lancaster County Court.

Sean Deemer, 55 of the 500 block of Golden Street, was sentenced to 4 to 8 years in prison followed by 5 years of probation after admitting guilt to charges on two dockets as result of an undercover investigation that the FBI referred to the HTTF.

Deemer pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful contact with a minor on each docket.

The FBI, posing as a minor, referred an undercover text exchange between Deemer to Lititz Borough Police. The investigation was then referred to the HTTF and an undercover detective started a second text conversation with Deemer posing as a different minor.

Multiple explicit and lewd messages and photos were sent and requested by Deemer.

Lancaster County Judge Margaret Miller ordered sentence.

Assistant District Attorney Fritz Haverstick prosecuted the case and arranged the negotiated guilty plea.

Lititz Borough Police and Human Trafficking Task Force Detective P.J. Savage filed charges on the first docket; Lancaster City Bureau of Police and Human Trafficking Task Force Detective Jessica Higgins filed charges on the second docket.
