The Dominican-American singer and songwriter, La Cassandra, brings us a sound that goes back to her Caribbean roots; singing her story through compelling melodies and expressive presentations will invite you on a Latin American journey like no other. Growing up, she listened to boleros, bachatas and Latin folklore gravitating to a variety of artists that have influenced her music such as Juan Gabriel, Gloria Estefan, Juan Luis Guerra, Sade and Celia Cruz. These influences drove her affinity to fuse the old and timeless with the new, reinterpreting tropical folklore with a modern twist.
This year (2023), La Cassandra released her debut album 'Lágrimas', a dynamic Latin Pop album recorded live with various genres such as Tropical, Merengue and Ballad where she tells us a love story that ends abruptly and finds her picking up the pieces of a broken heart but overcoming this adversity through a hope that does not tire.
The evolution of La Cassandra has led to significant traction in her career from the opening at Yankee Stadium to the performance at the Havana Jazz Festival and most recently Despierta America on Univision and, furthermore, where Billboard Latin highlighted her as "an artist on the rise we're listening to and should be on your radar."

Al crecer, escuchó boleros, merengues y folklore latino gravitando a una variedad de grandes artistas que han influido en su música como Juan Gabriel, Gloria Estefan, Juan Luis Guerra, Sade y Celia Cruz.
