Topic: Tearing Down Historical Statues. Dr. Peter Lillback and Jerry Newcombe wrote a book on the faith of George Washington which documents beyond a reasonable doubt that our first president was a Christian. Dr. Lillback has joined Jerry Newcombe for an on-going series of discussions on the faith of our founding father (and sometimes, founding fathers). In this particular discussion, they focus on the injustice of slavery. How is it that Washington could be Christian and yet own slaves (which he did free at the end of his life)?
