The murder trial of real estate heir Robert Durst is scheduled to resume in Los Angeles on Monday after over a year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 78-year-old Durst is on trial for the 2000 murder of his longtime friend Susan Berman.
Prosecutors claim Durst killed Berman because she might have revealed what she knew about the disappearance of Durst's first wife.
Kathie Durst has not been seen since leaving the couple's South Salem home in 1982.
Robert Durst remains the prime suspect in that case.
He pleaded not guilty in the Berman killing.
