India records less than 1 lakh fresh Covid cases in the last 24 hours

The country's active caseload has continued to decline now stands at 12,31,415 after 57 days.

India reported 92,596 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the press release by Union Health Ministry. With 2,219 deaths, India's death toll from the virus stands at 3,53,528.

The country's active caseload has continued to decline now stands at 12,31,415 after 57 days.

The country's total recoveries so far have been 2,75,04,126 cases, about 1,62,664 patients have been recovered during the last 24 hours.

As recovery cases continue to outnumber the daily new Covid cases, the recovery rate has now increased to 94.55 percent.

About 37.01 cr total tests have been conducted in the country. The weekly positivity rate and daily positivity rate in the country are at 5.66 percent and 4.66 percent respectively.

The Ministry has also informed that about 23.9 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far in the country under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
