Volunteer

Are you interested in getting more involved with the PTSA? We welcome ALL caregivers to share their time and talents. There are volunteer roles with varying lengths of commitment (ANY amount of time you can give is appreciated); during the school day, in the evening, and remotely from home.

We continue to need great people, and are currently recruiting for help during the 2023-24 school year. Below are just a few of the many roles and programs that would not exist without volunteer support from people like you!

Please note: All positions can be shared with another person, and you do not need to be up-to-date with your school volunteer paperwork to help with many of these positions.

Open PTSA Board Roles

Vice President An integral position within our Executive Board, the Vice President is a wonderful role if you’re keen to get involved and advocate for our school.

Open Non-Board Roles

E-STEM: Help bring ideas to our e-stem programming that could include maintaining school gardens and our living wall, organizing recycling and repurposing events, and more!

Parent Education Coordinator: Organize 1-2 parent education events, to be hosted in person or via Zoom, and/or quarterly parent meet ups with discussion topics.

Party Planner/Social Event Coordinator: Do you love to think of creative ways to get community members together, and plan events? We’d love to hear from you!

Spelling Bee Lead: If you loved the spelling bee as a kid, we’d love you to help us plan this fun event at our school! For more information about this role, please contact Sara Kent at studentenrichment@hazelwolfk8.org.
