English Language Arts:

 

In literature  

This week in literature we will work on the Little Prince final project.

 

In Grammar 

This week our scholars will finish the year by wrapping up prepositional phrases.

 

In writing

This week our scholars will finish the year by utilizing writing skills learned into a summary of their third-grade experience.

 

In poetry 

Scholars will study figurative language, drafting their own sentences and poems.

 

Math 

Students will be working on developing their own zoo utilizing area and perimeter.

 

History:  

This week is our final week of school. Scholars will revisit Ancient Rome. They will draw portraits of famous Romans of their choice and write about them. 

Over the Summer have you scholars read about civilizations, cultures, and historical events. The library is a great resource to find history books.

Science 

This week scholars will discuss their favorite science unit and why. Over the summer have your scholars read about science and experiments. There are lots of fun science resources. Steve Spangler has great science videos and experiments.

Students will be working on developing their own amusement park utilizing area and perimeter.

 

History:  

This week scholars will discuss rivers of trade in Europe: the Rhine, the Danube, and the Volga.

 

Science 

This week scholars will learn about the muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems.
