Rising 7th - 12th graders in Juneau, apply for a youth film workshop to create your own original mini-documentary on a fishing / cannery related topic of your choice. This internship is hosted by the Friends of the Alaska State Library, Archives, and Museum at the APK (395 Whittier St.), and instructed by Marie Acemah of See Stories (www.seestoriesalaska.org). Youth will meet meet from May 31st - June 3rd from 1 - 4 pm, and then showcase their films at a free public screening at 6 pm on June 3 for First Friday at the APK. If you have any questions you can email marie@seestories.org or call / text 907.308.3990. The deadline to apply is May 20th.
