Cambio di stagione nell'armadio

I wonder how to translate in English the following Italian colloquial expression that we sometimes use to say that we have to change the winter clothes with clothes for spring and summer in our wardrobe:

The Italian sentence:
" Sono molto indaffarata, devo fare il cambio di stagione nel mio armadio..

My try

I'm very busy, I have to replace my winter clothes with spring or summer clothes in my wardrobe...

It's a translation that doesn't fit to the original Italian expression..

Do you have any suggestion to say that in a better way?

Many thanks for your help.

P.S. = Any correction to my English would be highly appreciated...
:)

  • "It's that time of year when I exchange (o "change out/over") my winter wardrobe for summer".

    Hi there
First of all here, in my neck of the woods, summer clothes are not that much different to our winter ones!:D (Galoshes, umbrellas, raincoats are always close to hand!)
Joking apart; I don't think we really have a specific phrase for this but all I can think of (keeping it as short as possible): I'm very busy as I have to change my winter wardrobe to my summer wardrobe.

    Ciao
    Leo:)

    I'm very busy!
I have to change my winter wardrode to spring and summer!
I have to change my winter clothes for spring and summer!
.............................winter season clothes to my spring and summer wardrobe!
.............................winter attire to spring and summer.
I've gotta dump all this cold weather junk for stuff that looks good!

Thank you all for your suggestions!

    TIMLA,

I read your last sentence. Please tell me if I understood well the meaning of it!

I've gotta dump all this cold weather junk for stuff that looks good!

Here is my try to translate it:

Ho tenuto tutte queste cianfrusaglie invernali che valgono un centesimo per roba che sembra buona !

    E brava!:)

E un altro tentativo, che forse mi potete correggere:

Devo buttare via tutta questa macerie dell'inverno, e scambiala per roba con cui posso fare una buona figura!
    ????
    :)
