Critical Infrastructure Security Training Programs for Industry Professionals and University Students (Sponsored by the Texas Workforce Commission’s Wagner-Peyser Grant)

4 Hours Online short course for students interested in resilient, cyber-physical system (CPS) for critical infrastructure. Adaptive programs offered based on participant’s qualifications.
Education and Experience:
Background in Computer Science/ Electrical and Computer Engineering/Renewable/Wind Energy/ Industrial Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Data Science.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Basic understanding of networking, IT, Energy and Utility Operations, and Windows
• Must meet Texas Workforce Commission eligibility requirements as follows:
• be fourteen (14) years of age or older;
• be a United States (U.S.) citizen or a noncitizen authorized to work in the U.S.(F1-Visa);
• if male, be in compliance with the United States Selective Service System registration
requirements.
Course Outcomes:
• Students will earn a certificate and/or professional points from the instructors as a part
of Texas Workforce Commission’s Wagner-Peyser grant.
• Students earning the certificate will be better prepared in cyber-physical security
aspects and add it to resume.
• Prepare for the Full summer workshops
Course Delivery:
• The program will be made available through a Dropbox link which will be sent to your
email directly.
• Students will complete a quiz as part of the assessment.
