Mindful Exchanges Volunteering Summer 2022
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Mindful Exchanges mental wellness summer program with the Boys & Girls Club of New Haven! This opportunity involves helping to teach youth at the Boys & Girls Club about mental health. Sessions are held once a week, in-person in New Haven, on Wednesdays at Brennan-Rogers Magnet School for the first half of the summer (7/6-7/20) and Mondays at the main site at Columbus Ave for the second half of the summer (8/1-8/15). If you will NOT be in New Haven this summer, but would still like to be involved -- you're welcome to join us in designing the curriculum. You will work closely with the program directors to ensure that sessions run smoothly, engage youth, and make sure that they have fun!

For each session you plan to volunteer, there will be a mandatory 30-min Zoom meeting on Sunday the week of to go over the lesson plan.
