We are excited to begin accepting applications for the 2022 Title VI High School Summer Program! This year's Summer Program is a 4-day workshop organized by Title VI Indian Education. This year’s theme is "The Sun, Stars, and Sky is the limit". We will focus on Cultural Identity to Build Life Readiness Skills, whatever path you choose. There will be space for 25 students each session. Once a session has been filled we will start a waitlist.
Alaska Native and American Indian students entering ninth (9th through 12th) grade school year 2021-2022, who are currently enrolled in the Anchorage School District and have a complete 506 form on file with our department are welcome to apply. The program is free, and lunch and some transportation are provided. We are tentatively planning to provide bussing in different areas of the Municipality of Anchorage each session. TRANSPORTATION DETAILS TO BE FINALIZED UPON RECEIVING CONFIRMATION FROM THE ASD TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT.

Session I will be held June 13th-16th, 2022 Monday-Thursday, 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Session II will be held June 27th-30th, 2022 Monday-Thursday, 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Both sessions will offer the same activities. Students can only participate in one session.
