🟢   ABOUT THE JUNIOR RAMS:

The Grayson Junior Rams are every excited to announce our 2022-2023 TRYOUT DATES! The Junior Rams competitive cheerleading program has been created in an effort to advance competitive cheerleading in the Grayson area. Catering to rising 6th, 7th and 8th graders in the Grayson cluster, athletes will practice twice a week June through October.  Practices will focus on skill development and prepare them for competition against other GHSA (Georgia High School Association) middle school teams.  The Grayson Junior Rams will participate in four GHSA events dates TBA.

🟢   WHO CAN BE A JUNIOR RAM:

The Junior Rams program is available for all male and female athletes within the Grayson cluster. Athletes must be rising 6th, 7th or 8th graders who have a strong interest in competition cheer and a desire to advance their skills. The size of the team will be determined based on the skill level performed at tryouts.

🟢   IMPORTANT DATES/TIMES:

Tryouts will start at 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 12th an be held at The Atlanta Jayhawks Grayson Location.  All athletes should wear a white t-shirt, black shorts, a white bow(with hair secured in a high ponytail/bun) and white sneakers/cheer shoes.  Team announcements will be made on Sunday May 15th by 9:00 PM and posted on the Atlanta Jayhawks Cheerleading Facebook page and also emailed to all athletes.  Families should plan to attend a brief orientation and fitting on Tuesday, May 17th at 5:00 PM.
