Hi.  We are a small group of volunteer parents at Law PS - all with professional experience, skills and knowledge that we hope will contribute to improving the playground for all the children at the school.  We have lots of our own ideas and have been collaborating closely with staff at the school to create a wish list for the next few months (Feb - June 2022) and beyond for the next few years.  

Our aim is to bring more plants, trees, colour and play opportunities to the playground.  We believe this will make it more welcoming, fun and creative for play and outdoor learning and increase children's learning around environmental sustainability.  

We are committed to coordinating the work and the PTA are committed to fundraising and sourcing donated materials.  So far they have raised around £6000 through events and funding applications.

However Project Playground needs to be a collaboration with families and staff and so we warmly invite parents / carers / grandparents to sign up and support us on key activity days.  Please get involved - we need your help and it's a great way to get to know other families too!  Your kids are very welcome to come along  and we will provide coffee + snacks (please bring your own lunch).  Don't worry if you don't have experience / skills / equipment.  Sign up below for specific dates and please note your contact details will be shared with us via the Parent Council Coordination Team.
