The annual Science and Warren Miller Movie Night is back, and if you have interests in science, engineering or winter sports, then you may find this event particularly exciting! We will be hosting a science and engineering talk that will be followed by a screening this year’s 72nd Warren Miller Movie, part of a franchise of winter sports movies. This outreach event is organized through collaboration with three local organizations (Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Biomedical Engineering Society of Southeast Minnesota, and the Mayo Clinic Graduate School) and is open to all in our community with no cost to the attendees. Event details are delineated below:
When: Tuesday, December 14th from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
6:00-6:30 p.m. : Food and introductions
6:30-7:30 p.m.: Science/engineering talk about adaptive technology and gaming
7:30-8:30 p.m.: Screening of Warren Miller’s 72nd Movie: Winter Starts Now
